Five Suggestions for a Successful Big Ten Pub Crawl

WE HAVE A TREMENDOUS RESPONSE FROM MIDWEST FOLK so please see below to help make this another fun & festive Saturday crawl.

1. Be Punctual. Due to numbers, we are having a shotgun start at various bars so highly encouraged to arrive 8:30am at Hennesseys to check in, grab your lanyard, and join a crawl team as the games begin promptly at 9am.

2. Pay as you go. Each drink is between $3-$5, so bring CASH $1s and $5s for faster ordering & tipping.

3. Wear your school colors, comb your hair, and bring a camera as want to post quality photos after the event.

4. While all of the bars are expecting us, be aware that we will likely overwhelm them with our good looks and sheer numbers.

5. Don’t Drink and Drive. Get a driver, take a Taxi, stay at a Hotel, or even hook up with a local.

PARKING: A parking structure is available on Hermosa Avenue 13th St., a couple blocks north of the Pier. Costs $1 an hour with a max 24 hours of $16. Or, with a little walk, there is free 12 hour parking on Valley Drive between 8th & 10th. Or you can opt for metered street parking but beware that parking tickets are $45.
